Red Line's D4 ATF is their most versatile automatic transmission fluid, designed for use where Dexron III, Dexron II, Mercon, and Mercon V fluids are recommended to provide a GL-4 level of gear protection. D4 synthetic ATF allows for high-temp operation without varnishing valves and clutches, and facilitates excellent cold-weather operation. It can also be used with manual transmissions and transaxles, like T-5, T-45, T-56, and late model BMWs.
